Winter pruning – we defy the cold
Our main task in January and February is winter pruning, but also a lot of cellar and office work. We are drawn out, despite the cold. This morning it was almost zero degrees and very windy, which makes it really cold, but nice: blue skies and finally fresh air again – exercise and hot tea included, of course.

With concentrated strength and a lot of enthusiasm, Rupi and Peter started the winter pruning, the first step being pre-pruning in the vineyards, which are equipped with hail nets, because there is no machine for them. The two of them had a lot of fun, was it because of the biscuit snack or the new Makita machine?
